7 STEPS TO ABUNDANCE IN THE TIME OF FEAR

A friend of mine stopped drinking two months prior to a car accident in which she was severely injured. Now fully recovered from the accident, she remarked recently: “The only thing that would have made my recovery worse is if I had started drinking again.”

If you’re affected by COVID-19, these steps won’t increase your income immediately. But they will help keep you balanced, and to use this time productively to attract more abundance to you in the future. “The only thing that will make it worse is if you relapse into fear.”

1. Fear repels abundance and is not helpful. Action is helpful. Your fear of not having enough money, or fear of running out, reinforces lack.
When you worry about not having enough money, take a deep breath, and say: “That’s not helpful,” and then: “what can I do right now to help?” First thing in the morning, make the intention to change poverty thinking to abundance thinking that day.

2. Keep your energy in balance. Money, a form of energy, represents how balanced the flow or exchange of energy is in your life. If you give much, you must allow an equal amount of energy to flow back through your life - often this means asking others for help. If you work long hours without receiving, energy will be extracted from you to create balance. The extraction will show up as fatigue, illness or other limitation. If you receive energy equal to the amount of your effort, you’ll be in balance, and abundance will flow with no limit.

3. Don’t discount your service. Your value is your value. Discounting and cutting your fee is a sign of fear.  You attract the vibrational level that you are sending out. If your overt intention is to build your practice but the sub-text you are sending to the world is “I might not be worth it” then the overt message is confused and blocked by the sub-text. If you’re a service professional, ask: “what service do I provide? That is, what effect do I want to have on people, what actions do I want them to take?” How else can I do this?” Make a list and start.

4.  Use this time to stand out, not hold back. Fear reduces, confidence expands. If you believe that what you give or do is superior or equal to others, and creates significant benefit … but through your lack of self-belief or lack of commitment, you fail to deliver this product or service to the widest circle, you are squandering your gifts and failing to reach the levels that were meant for you. It’s time to expand.

5. Take this time to get in order, so that when we are through this, abundance can flow in. Clutter, scatter and disorganization repel wealth.

  • Take it a room or a drawer at a time and get it in order.

  • Instead of scattering your time, work in chunks of 10 minutes without distraction on actions that move your life forward.

  • Clutter is chaos, and chaos brings more chaos, not abundance. Use this time to get your finances in order. If you live in scarcity, chances are that you don’t keep good records, don’t understand finances, don’t have a budget, and your system isn’t in order. It might be a good time to fix that.

6. Don’t hoard. Hoarding is a sign of fear. Fear repels, and thus the hoarder never lives abundantly, only miserably. Throw out or give away everything you don’t like, can’t use, what you have not used in the past six months, what doesn’t make you feel good. Get rid of unimportant and unwanted responsibilities and commitments in your life.

7. Be compassionate with yourself. Self-love and compassion attract good. You’re safe. You’ve survived everything you’ve been through before. This is no different.
